<title>Ops4Agile – Ein Ansatz für den agilen Betrieb von Cloud-Plattformen im Managed-Service-Kontext</title>

<description>Ops4Agile – Ein Ansatz für den agilen Betrieb von Cloud-Plattformen im Managed-Service-Kontext

Ops4Agile stützt sich auf vier Prinzipien: Team in the Middle, Human Interfaces, Agile Way of Working und Controlled Automation. Over the last few years, the development of software has become more and more agile. In order to realize the potential benefits of this, there is also a need for agile IT operations. Tightly integrating software development and IT operations as postulated by the DevOps paradigm, however, is often not possible in practice. This is especially true in the context of managed services, i.e. where the IT infrastructure is operated by an external IT service provider. In this paper, we present Ops4Agile, which is an approach for operating cloud platforms in an agile manner in the context of managed services. Ops4Agile is founded on four principles: Team in the Middle, Human Interfaces, Agile Way of Working, and Controlled Automation. Ops4Agile distinguishes between teams for the agile IT operations (i.e., agile-tools team and platform team) and a team for the basis IT operations (i.e., operating the IT infrastructure). Site reliability engineers assigned to the teams coordinate the collaboration between software engineering and IT operations. In an aggregated backlog, software engineering and IT operations define the joint work. The automated performance of change requests must be comprehensible by the transferring company.

<description>Data Storytelling als kritischer Erfolgsfaktor von Data Science
Neifer, Thomas; Lawo, Dennis; Bossauer, Paul; Esau, Margarita; Jerofejev, Anna-Maria
Due to the ongoing digitalization and the Big Data trend, an increasing amount of data is available. This results in many potentials—especially for companies. The ability to cope with and evaluate this data is reflected in the role of the data scientist, which is one of the most popular jobs at present. However, challenges arise from the integration of data into corporate strategy and culture. For example, complex data and analysis results must be communicated to stakeholders who are not data-affine. Data storytelling plays a decisive role here, because to use data to initiate change, understanding and motivation for the issue must first be created for every target group. However, data storytelling is still a niche topic. This article uses a systematic literature analysis to derive the success factors of data storytelling for an effective and efficient communication of data to support Data Scientists in research and practice in communicating data and results.

<title>IT-Compliance in KMU – State of the art</title>
<link>http://dl.gi.de/handle/20.500.12116/36108</link>
<description>IT-Compliance in KMU – State of the art
Deistler, Nico; Rentrop, Christopher
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are known for their innovative strength and form the backbone of the German economy. Studies show, however, that they are falling behind capital market-oriented companies in terms of compliance measures. In these studies there is no detailed analysis for the subarea IT-Compliance. The increasing trends of digitization and industry 4.0 drive the massive change, which increase the necessity of IT-Compliance measures especially in SME. Although there is little discussion on the reasons and motives of missing IT-Compliance efforts in SME, many publications, which deal with partial aspects of Compliance and SME, demonstrate the need for action. Therefore, the aim of this paper is reviewing the current state in literature and identifying current topics in IT-Compliance in SMEs.
