The first workshop on “Indigenous and Interdisciplinary Methods in Knowledge Management” brings researchers and practitioners with interests in intercultural and interdisciplinary knowledge management topics together. The workshop mainly addresses three issues: The importance of indigenous knowledge and the challenges for its management, The importance of experience exchange between various research disciplines regarding the methods used in managing the knowledge creation and its transfer.
