SENSE - intelligent storage and exploration of large document sets
Autor(en):
Zusammenfassung
The SENSE project develops a semantically based system architecture to especially address the scalability issue of large multimedia document collections over time. Focusing on visualization and storage, metadata both from the application and the technical domain will be regarded semantic knowledge. All semantics will be run in a central repository, mediating a continuous flow of knowledge in and between usually separate system layers of typical system architectures. Some preliminary results are available for discussion as well as a prototype application for demonstration purposes.
