Use Cases and Concepts for 3D Visualisation in Manufacturing

Zusammenfassung
We propose and analyse six use cases for 3D visualisation in manufacturing attempting to identify business scenarios for which 3D visualisation can add value in supporting manufacturing operations. This early qualitative work is based on a theoretical analysis of potential use cases. In addition to the analysis, we discuss the required data and data sources, and finally propose a number of basic concepts for visualising different kinds of manufacturing data.
