Implementierung eines Projektdatenmanagements für das interdisziplinäre Forschungsprojekt TR32 „Patterns in Soil-Vegetation-Atmosphere Systems: Monitoring, Modelling, and Data Assimilation“

Abstract

Data storage and data exchange is a key issue in interdisciplinary research projects which focus on environmental field studies and regional modelling. The overall success of such projects depends on a well organized data management and data exchange system between all involved project partners. This includes the organization of data, the implementation of a database and the maintenance of such a system for intensive data exchange between the project sections. This paper introduces the data management design of the interdisciplinary research project SFB TR 32 "Patterns in Soil-Vegetation-Atmosphere Systems: Monitoring, Modelling, and Data Assimilation“.
