Information System of Environmental Loads as a support tool of processes of the Act No. 409/2011 Coll. on some measures in the field of environmental loads

Abstract

Information systems of Environmental Loads in The Slovak Republic is considered to be a main tool which supplements business processes defined in Act No. 409/2011 Coll. on some measures in the field of environmental loads and amending certain laws. This paper describes an innovative web based application interface which publishes information accompanying environmental loads during their life cycle. Created application interface help to register information obtained in the process of environmental loads identification, support an evaluate risk of environmental loads to quality of people and ecosystems health and life’s and publish information about performed investigation, remediation and site restoration activities. This is based on components named Register of environmental loads, Atlas of Remediation Methods of Environmental Loads, Register of professional qualifications for performance of geological works and the Registers of geological concessions granted to personal entities (performing business activities) and legal entities which were developed by Slovak Environmental Agency.
