geoland2 SDI: A Spatial Data Infrastructure component for the GMES Land Monitoring Core Service

Zusammenfassung
Within the geoland2 project, the Spatial Data Infrastructure task supports the service providers in the dissemination of products and services to the users. For this INSPIRE is considered as the baseline, to ensure an easy integration of the SDI into the context of the European Spatial Data Infrastructure. It implements a loosely coupled service architecture, which consists of a few centralised components and many distributed components at the various service providers to support the discovery, viewing, downloading and ordering of data via one unique access point.
