Die UIS-Rahmenkonzeption 2006 – Masterplan für die Verarbeitung von Umweltinformationen im IuK-Verbund Land/Kommunen Baden-Württemberg

Abstract

The Environmental Information System (EIS) of the state of Baden-Württemberg in Southwest Germany is the organisational, technical and content-regarding base for the processing of environmental information within the state and municipal administration in Baden-Württemberg. It is also the base for the reporting to the public. The main emphasis of the EIS framework conception 2006 is to describe the structures and processes which were developed due to a major reform of the administrational structures in Baden-Württemberg as a joined solution for a comprehensive environmental information system operated in partnership by state and municipal administration. The current conception is outlined exemplarily with the following topics: processing and exchange of environmental data, spatial data, data management and provision, portals and web services.
