Descripteurs socio- environnementaux à l'échelle des Alpes françaises Sozio-ökologische Indikatoren für die französischen Alpen

Abstract

Le Cemagref développe un système d'information conçu en vue de l'analyse des caractéristiques environnementales des territoires des Alpes françaises et des pressions liées à leur développement. Il mobilise des informations qu'il interprète à l'aide de plusieurs grilles d'analyse (relief occupation du sol, etc.), en les traduisant sous la forme de descripteurs ou d'indicateurs. Leur rapprochement conduit à un diagnostic, présenté dans des documents de synthèse, identifiant les enjeux généraux liés à l'utilisation de ces territoires.

A Land Information System which aims at - characterizing French Alps' territories from an environmental point of view, - analysing the pressures associated with their development, is being developed by Cemagref. The information used by this L.I.S. is interpreted through several explanatory criteria (relief land use, administrative boundaries, ...), leading to the elaboration of descriptors and indicators. Rapproching them allows a general diagnosis which identifies the main problems linked with the economic functions and the patrimonial value assigned to these territories.
