Abstract

The use of simulation models in ecology and their application can be intensified, if a more easier access is realised. The following article presents an access to simulation models based on a thesaurus descriptor. The integration of description words within the thesaurus descriptor, model–meta–informations and data of simulation scenarios in a database set up the base for simulation pre–processing, interaction with geographic information systems and model–documentation. Consistent simulation runs can be prepared even for more complex simulation systems.
