Einführung eines DVgestützten Umweltkennzahlensystems in mittelständischen Unternehmen - ein Erfahrungsbericht

Abstract

The dynamic development of environmental basic conditions in the politically legal, social like also economic field leads to the fact, that the importance of ecological efficiency of an enterprise is increasing in the future. A condition to meet these new requirements is the knowledge of the operational environment situation of an enterprise at any time. As an information provider at strategic as well as operative level in the business management several kinds of business performance evaluation systems has been established. The main aim in the following project was to extend this idea by the ecological dimension and create an environmental performance evaluation system in two enterprises. This article describes the method to solve the problem as the basis for an adaptation to other individual enterprise information systems.
