Digital Futures: an agenda for a sustainable digital economy

Abstract

This article summarises the key findings of the Digital Futures project: a groundbreaking exploration of the social and environmental opportunities of the internet and e-business. Co-ordinated by the think-tank Forum for the Future, the project brought together leading thinkers from the worlds of policy, business and academia in an insightful, vigorous and at time controversial examination of the impact e-business will ill have on the way we live and work, and on the environment on which we all depend.
