Der Umweltatlas Schleswig-Holstein

Abstract

Spatial informations about the environment of Schleswig-Holstein (the most northern federal state of Germany), which represent the kernel of environmental informations, can be made available for a wide public via internet. The basis for this is the software kernel of the MapServer of the University of Minnesota, an adaptation of this software to spatial and factual databases of the ‘Schleswig-Holstein Information System of Nature and Environment’ as well as the programming of a suitable layout and the required possibilities for interacting. The target is the development of a digital interactive environmental atlas of Schleswig-Holstein.
