Development of a Database for Climate Research

Zusammenfassung
A database for continuous greenhouse gas measurements, measurements of plant, animal, microbial and soil parameters, satellite images, model runs is currently being developed. Besides measured values, the database will contain metadata on study purpose, data origin, parameters measured, sample preparation, data quality, etc. The organizational structure of the database resembles a large network. This facilitates integrated and project-specific data presentation and to define data access rights for project contributors.
