Workflow of Environmental Administrative Processes in Czech Republic

Abstract

The poster describes a proposed prototype of an information system for environmental administrative processes in the Czech Republic. The main emphasis is oriented on workflow and document flow in public administration of environmental management. Today workflow is seen as the automation of a business process, in whole or part, during which documents, information or tasks are passed from one participant to another for action, according to a set of procedural rules. But there are many differences between business and administrative workflow management systems. This poster presents these differences and contains the proposal of new workflow and document flow system for environmental administration. The proposal is divided into two parts. The first part contains the analysis of system requirements; the second part contains a system design.
