| dc.description.abstract | In this position paper, we discuss our view on the past and future of the domain of enterprise architecture. We will do so, by characterising the past, and anticipated future, in terms of a number of trends. Based on these trends, we then discuss our current understanding of the future concept and role of enterprise architecture.
