| dc.description.abstract | The emergence of new constraints, including European environmental regulations resulted in the appearance of new
needs regarding the quantification of the environmental impact of an Electrical and Electronic (E&E) product. To
meet these new requirements, a software tool that aimed at assessing the environmental impact of Energy using
Products was developed: EIME (Environmental Impact Made Easy). In the specifications for this tool, three development axes were identified. The first one consisted in providing a highly accessible tool where the concept of collaborative work was the main goal. The second aspect was to improve the software user friendly aspect. The third
axis was to propose a database that was adapted to Electrical and Electronic product issues. | de |
