| dc.description.abstract | Lower Saxony is setting up a state-wide information system for water management (FIS-W) ― especially with regard to the European Community’s Water Framework Directive. As part of the FIS-W, a data warehouse is under development, into which data from specialized, water-related information systems will be transferred continuously. The data warehouse shall cover all information relevant to comprehensive water management. It is accessible to different authorities via the state’s Intranet.
