CLIFF's Recommendations for Flood & Fire Disaster Management
Zusammenfassung
In the past two years, CLIFF has performed an analysis of selected projects funded by
EC and ESA related to flood and fire management to identify guidelines, recommenda-
tions and possible strategies to progress towards standardisation of different key-
elements in Disaster Management (DM) operations. These key elements, e.g. predictive
models, terminology and use of Earth observation data/products in the operational chains
have been crossed with European Civil Protection requirements to demonstrate how ser-
vices can be improved and harmonised.
