| dc.description.abstract | In the past two years, CLIFF has performed an analysis of selected projects funded by
EC and ESA related to flood and fire management to identify guidelines, recommenda-
tions and possible strategies to progress towards standardisation of different key-
elements in Disaster Management (DM) operations. These key elements, e.g. predictive
models, terminology and use of Earth observation data/products in the operational chains
have been crossed with European Civil Protection requirements to demonstrate how ser-
vices can be improved and harmonised. | de |
